McALLEN, Texas – The leaders of five economic development corporations in the upper Rio Grande Valley gave updates on their work at South Texas College's 2023 Workforce Summit. The five were Raudel Garza of Edinburg EDC, Teclo Garcia of Mission EDC, Victor Perez of Pharr EDC, Rose Benavidez of Starr County Industrial Foundation, and Steve Valdez of Weslaco EDC. They participated in a panel discussion moderate by Dr. Rodney Rodriguez, STC's vice president of institutional advancement and economic development.
