LBJ girls' basketball player Ashley GarzaClara Sandoval/Laredo Morning TimesLBJ is a team that is on the rise as the Lady Wolves are seeing the fruits of their labor this season. Wins were hard to come by in the the preseason these past few years as their inexperienced showed.Now with seven returning seniors, LBJ is sporting a 13-6 overall record as the Lady Wolves are coming off a successful tournament run. They picked up the gold championship at the Weslaco Mid Valley Classic to open tournament season.
