Quarterback Javi Jimenez and the Alexander Bulldogs are set to compete at the Weslaco Mid-Valley Classic this Saturday. Garrett Kroeger/Laredo Morning Times The Alexander Bulldogs look to qualify for the state 7-on-7 tournament this weekend as they'll compete at the Weslaco Mid-Valley Classic on Saturday. Alexander had an opportunity last weekend to qualify for the state tournament at the RGV Snake Pit Classic. However, it fell short of doing so. So, the Bulldogs look to do so this weekend.
