Two Laredo teams will be making their way down to The Valley this weekend for the second 7-on-7 tournament of the year: the Weslaco Mid Valley Classic.Alexander and United are coming off of weekends where they were both less than a touchdown away from qualifying for the pool championships. Even though Alexander went 1-2 last week, had it been able to pull out a victory over Harlingen in their final game of a pool play, its 2-1 record would have trumped that of Mission Sharyland which it beat earlier in the day and yet won its pool.
